PROPERTIES
Our alkaline earth silicate fiber mat 1400°C is part of the latest generation of proven, breakthrough technology for low bio-resistant fibers. Our Alkaline Earth Silicate Fibre Mat 1400°C is manufactured using advanced defibration techniques combined with a new proprietary processing technique, providing both a 1400 classification level and a greater application limit temperature for applications up to 1300°C. The needled mat is completely inorganic and retains its strength, flexibility and thermal properties without fuming in many working environments. Our 1400°C alkaline earth silicate fiber mat is available in a variety of density and thickness combinations and can be used in a wide range of high temperature applications.
Advantages
- High temperature stability
- Low thermal conductivity
- Thermal shock resistance
- Low weight
- Good processing
- Low heat storage
- Excellent flexibility
PRODUCT TYPE
MATERIAL
Alkaline earth silicate fiber high temperature wool (AES Alkaline Earth Silicate Wool) consist of a mix of amorphous fibers, which are melted and then rapidly solidified using a combination of silica SiO2 and calcium oxide (CaO) with or without magnesium oxide (MgO). The fiber can be obtained by refining with other additives or a change in the material mix (addition of zirconium oxide (ZrO2) have a temperature resistance of up to 1260 ° C.
Product variations
Roll goods
Fibre mats are sold as standard in rolls. The roll length depends on the selected thickness. As standard width we have 610mm wide rolls in stock. Double widths are available on request.

Moulded parts
We manufacture moulded parts according to your specifications. In the process, the roll material is
- Waterjet
- Punch
- Plot
into the right shape for you.

Fiber modules
We manufacture according to customer specifications fiberModules designed to meet the insulation requirements of industrial furnaces, ovens and heaters.
